What is the Mumzy Gold Card?
The Mumzy Card is a prepaid Card for online transactions only.
The Mumzy Gold Card gives online shoppers access to exclusive discounts from online retailers. This card can be used to pay for online transactions in over 4 million online retailers. This card does not offer any form of credit.
What is the application process?
There is no lengthy or complicated application process. You simply fill an online form and apply instantly. We may use Personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks.
Will I need a bank account?
You do not need a bank account,this card is not tied to your finances. We don't care about your credit rating either.
Where can I use my card?
Your card is accepted at any online retailer with the MasterCard acceptance mark. Your card can be funded in USD ($) or GBP (£)
Do we have to shop through a special website?
No. You can shop directly with any online retailer of your choice. There are over 4 million online retailers in the UK. Mumzy Cards is not partnered with any retailer.
What makes Mumzy Gold Card different from other Credit Cards?
As part of the Mumzy package, this card comes with a UK billing address, which means you, can shop directly with retailers in the UK without worry about a billing or shipping address. Once you orders have been placed, just sit back and wait for them to be delivered to your doorstep.
What does it cost to get one?
There is a non-refundable application fee of £50.
How long is the contract?
There is no contract. You are free to stop using your membership card whenever you want. See terms and conditions.
How do I load my Mumzy Gold Card?
When you want to top-up, you simply pay the correct funds into the business account using the last 8 digits of your card as a reference number. It will up to 4 working days to clear on your Mumzy Card.
What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
You must notify us immediately if your card is lost or stolen. You should treat this card as cash in your wallet or purse. There is a £10 replacement charge.
Are there any restrictions on where I use my card?
There are a few restrictions such as gambling and adult websites please see the Terms and Conditions for more information.
Are there any things I shouldn't use my card for?
Yes, it's not generally a good idea to use the card at hotel and car rental check-ins. They can't always predict what your final bill will be, so when you check-in they may request pre-authorisation for a higher amount than you expected, which may leave you with less remaining balance to spend on your card than you thought. So it's often a better idea to use a credit or debit card for check-in. You are still able to pay the final bill with your prepaid card if you have sufficient funds.

Can I request monthly statements?
Yes you can request an online statement once a month
Can I receive my statement by post?
Yes you can, however there is an admistrative fee of £8.50 per request.

Can I leave funds on my card?
We advice customers to load their card with whatever amount they would like to spend. Remember, your prepaid card is like cash. Please do not leave large balances on your card. Your cash does not earn interest and you can not take out balances from an ATM
